Clarinet Lessons

The clarinet is a versatile woodwind instrument known for its wide tonal range and beautifully expressive capabilities. Typically made of wood or synthetic materials, the clarinet produces sound by using a single-reed mouthpiece. It is a truly versatile instrument, featuring heavily in both classical and jazz music.

Classical

Clarinet is a staple in classical music, as both a solo and ensemble instrument; our tutors are all trained to high standards, and experienced performers, which means you can rest assured that your clarinet lessons will be with somebody experienced and knowledgeable in the field.

Examinations

As with all our instruments, our clarinet tutors are equipped to enter you and guide you through examinations should you wish to go down that route - including sight reading, aural training as well as scales and arpeggios.

Jazz

As mentioned above, the Clarinet is used in both Classical and Jazz repertoire, so if you’re more about improvisation and smooth jazz sounds, our Liverpool-based studios offer tuition in a more casual setting than Classical Clarinet. We also have our woodwind choir for more ensemble performance opportunities.
