Adam is an accomplished saxophonist, arranger, orchestrator and composer, who began his career playing in the LCC big band at age 15 where he played lead alto saxophone under Paul Taft. Adam realised that this was the career he wanted and began to make waves on the scene, being the youngest in the band by 5 years, Adam quickly adapted to improvisation and began studying music theory and harmony much more in-depth.

Adam achieved his grade 8 music theory in 2019 and went on to receive a BA and a MusM(merit) in orchestration and composition at Manchester University. 

Since then, Adam has arranged for such bands as "Ian Prowse and Amsterdam", "The Sway", "The classic double", "Echo strings" and "Dancing to Architecture". 

Adam is well known on the Liverpool jazz scene, as well as part of his 4-piece-riot-jazz ensemble "Sweet Beans", who headlined the Derry International jazz festival in 2023.
