The Music Social
Because learning music doesn’t stop at school.
The Music Social is a relaxed, pub-based music night for adult music learners in Liverpool. It’s designed for people who are learning music later in life — singers, instrumentalists, returners, and anyone who wants to enjoy being around music without pressure.
This is not an open mic and it’s not a showcase. There’s no expectation to perform, no auditions, and no hierarchy. It’s simply a welcoming space to meet other adult learners, have a drink, chat, and make music together if you want to.
A low pressure space for adult learners
Some people play or sing, some people listen, and some people simply chat and enjoy the atmosphere.
All instruments and voices are welcome, and it’s completely fine to come along without preparing anything. The focus is on encouragement, curiosity, and meeting other amateur musicians in a friendly, non-competitive setting.
When and Where?
The Music Social runs once a month at The Pig & Whistle, Liverpool. Dates are announced on a rolling basis rather than a fixed weekday, so you can join when it suits you.
